This work requires Urban Hawk to consider the parameters and characteristics of each work centre within the chain of systems, allowing us to not only analyse – but to model the end to end system then propose and promote changes – to enhance that.
This enables the workflows to be maintained even under stress, as the upstream and downstream interactions can be factored into localised changes. As a result this cuts down fallow time, reduces backlogs and work in progress, since the capacity and flexibility of each component can be modelled and reduces unnecessary waiting times between work centres.
In addition – many systems require periodic updating and re-visiting allowing for opportunities and benefits to exploited – by extracting data and predictions from each step and modelling how that additional insight can be brought to bear on improving efficiency across the whole process.”
